Simon Payne

With five decades of experience in policing, including 20 years as Chair of Warwickshire Police Federation, Simon has extensive knowledge and experience in Post Incident Procedures. Over the past 18 months, he has worked closely with the IOPC on a range of issues, helping to ensure the PIP process is fair, effective and properly understood.

Drawing on his extensive experience, Simon will share the story of a significant incident, the bravery of the officers involved, the national recognition they received, and the important role the PIP process played in achieving the final outcome.
